Item works perfectly but it's costly

I bought it to connect type C port of my Android smartphone Samsung M14 with Smart TV...... But it doesn't work with smartphones..... It is working on laptop......but in laptop I already have HDMI port so basically this one is useless for me now..... Inregret buying this..... Please don't but it... Also there is no return option only replacement 😭😭

Overall the product is Okey, but the packing is very poor and I request amazon to do a safe paking for the products in the future.
