My Doctor accessed her medical database in the office and looked up any medically documented cases of dementia or any negative side effects, this is a safe sleep aid and works. It will not work very well if you use MMJ, however, I believe it is too light to be used to counteract anxiety-induced sleep insomnia, but works very well with your typical restless-for-no-reason insomnia. I use this to knock myself out at 7pm for a 3AM shift, otherwise it would be nearly impossible.

I have a tough time falling and staying asleep. I have tried lots of things. These things work, so much so that I cut them into thirds and am going out for the night.Downside, they work, if there is a fire in the night, forget it, I'm sleeping through it. I do wake up groggy after taking them.

This is actually Unisom (docylamine). It really helps as a sleep aid if someone is used to melatonin so it doesn’t work for them anymore, since it’s different. Beware of the same name for Benadryl tablets. I don’t know how they are able to market them with the same name. But if Benadryl doesn’t make you sleepy, it’s not helpful. What I call the real Unisom is. Look for the ingredient doxylamine. As a nurse, our hospital administers this successfully for sleep, but we give 50 mg rather than 25 mg.

When you are experiencing nausea in your first trimester, and you are looking for some relief, I would recommend consider considering unisom as a supplement. It’s incredibly small, which makes it easy to swallow. My wife experienced a level of effectiveness that she did not with other remedies. I would certainly consider trying this as a cost-effective option to overcome a generational dilemma.

This is the most effective over the counter sleep aid I have found. It is my go to. You have to get the TABLETS and NOT the GEL CAPS. They must have a different formula because the gel caps did not work at all for me, but the tablets are amazing! Guaranteed good night sleep.
