Good concept but poor execution
It seems like overall it was a well thought out design. You can feed granularly down to 1/12 of a cup and set up schedules. Some of the features are locked behind a subscription like individual programs for cats. The issue for this product and the reason I returned it is the poor overall execution in the final product. As people pointed out, the capacitive buttons makes it so that my cats will constantly trigger the button while eating, causing an annoying beeping sound. It also beeps without much detail in the app. From the video, I later found it was because it needed to have more food. I thought the constant beeping was unnecessary and no where in the app did it indicate that it was for that reason.

Disappointed
I wouldāve thought that with what it cost it would work a little better. It takes way, way too long to dispense the portion. My cats finish before itās even done pouring because it pours so little at a time so they just stand there waiting for the rest. The divider piece is useless since it doesnāt actually help in diving the portion, more goes to the left side than the right. Debating if I want to keep it because I like that itās a smart feeder however Iām not sure that the price is worth it. I saw a couple for half the price, they werenāt smart feeders but they did the same job.

NO MANUAL PROGRAMMING - Wi-Fi required - and a bit invasive. Just want feeder not a "relationship"
I thought it could be programmed without Wi-Fi. It can only be programmed with a cell phone using their app and with Wi-Fi. No Wi-Fi signal near feeder. The App requires you sign up to their web site/service to use the app to program the feeder. And supply personal and contact information, but not social security numbers. I just want a working feeder, not a relationship with the company. Without programming you must hold a button for 5 seconds to unlock it, then push another button to have it dispense a single serving. Easier to just fill a bowl by hand. Maybe it would be fine for more techworthy households. I don't really want to feed my cats by the internet. I'd be happy with just turn knobs to program feedings in my absence.

feeding status unknown
This is the second PetLibro Automatic Cat feeder - it is a replacement because the first one did not work. This one is not automatically feeding. Instead I get messages saying status unknown. I can manually feed via the app, but this is useless. Is there any customer support? this is a piece of junk!!!

Sleek feeder with a nice app
I recently upgraded to this feeder because I'm planning on getting another cat and wanted something that could handle both pets easily. Overall, I really like the app, itās pretty straightforward to use and lets me schedule feedings and monitor things like the exact amount my pumpkin is getting from my phone, which is super convenient. That said, I do find it a little annoying that thereās a membership fee involved to unlock certain features. It's not a huge deal since the most important things are free but still. Another downside I discovered is that it really does rely solely on WiFi, so if you lose internet connection, it stops working automatically. I had a power outage for two days during a storm, and I didnāt realize until then the repercussions. It's a good feeder, just be prepared to stay cautious if your wifi goes out. The good thing is that the app does notify you if the wifi is down or if its disconnected.
