Smart and Convenient!
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Jio Tag and I have been using it for a few days now, and I must say, it’s quite a handy device!Pros:1. Ease of Use: Setting up Jio tag is very easy. Download the Find my Device app, press the button for 2 3 sec and get started with google fast pairing!2. Small and lightweight: The tag itself is small and lightweight, so you can easily attach it to your keys, bags or even your pets without adding any bulk.3. Battery life: The battery life of the Jio Tag is good and can last for a few days on a single charge depending on the usage. The tab has a power saving power so you don’t have to worry about it draining quickly.4. Affordable and reliable: Considering its price, Jio Tag offers great value for money.Cons1. Not waterproof: This is not a waterproof so consider using it in a dry placeFinal Thoughts:Overall, the Jio Tag is a product for people who frequently lose their stuff and need a solution. It’s compact, easy to use, and effective. However, if you live in an area where the network is inconsistent or you’re looking for the highest tracking with more, this might not be the best option. Still, it’s a good choice for everyday use at its price!

Worthless piece of junk. Do not buy
Absolute piece of junk. I bought this to use during a holiday abroad. The jio app is terrible. The tag doesn't connect with the jio app but it connects with the Google find device app albeit temporarily. Once the tag is outside bluetooth range the app forgets the tag and you need to manually add it again. When it is connected it mostly shows incorrect location. What's the point of a tag if it needs to constantly be within bluetooth range of your phone? I was apprehensive about going in for any jio product or service based on my earlier experiences with Reliance/Jio but decided to give them a second chance. Doesn't seem like anything has changed whatsoever, they're still selling rebranded cheap China products and without proper supporting software or infrastructure. Waste of money.

Finally a tracker compatible with Google's find my device network - and it's good!
I had been using a Samsung Tag 2 for about a year now. It's good, but has limitations - particularly being tied to Samsung devices for tracking as well as updating the location. The Jio tracker Go launched as India's first android tracker compatible with Google's find my device network. I used it extensively for last 24 hrs, and I am quite happy with it, and thinking I'll replace it as my tracker for usecase where I otherwise used the Samsung tag 2.The tracker can be added either from Find my device app or Jio Things. As I am not a fan of Jio's ecosystem and apps, I set it up from Google find my device app.Despite Google's default setting being update location only in high network traffic areas - i saw the tracker's location refresh quite frequently, like every 10-15 mins at night and every 5 mins in day. I live in a big city, so this may vary in smaller towns.Additionally, ability to share the tracker is a big plus. I can now share with any android user and not restricted to within Samsung ecosystem anymore. The device itself is of decent build quantity - not as premium as Samsung tracker, but cheaper, thinner and lighter. The Jio tracker isn't water proof either, so you have to be cautious about that.Overall, it's a value for money and a big step towards smart trackers scene in India.P.S since no cases are available, I used an air tag case and cut it out in the middle to allow stretching it to fit the Jio Tag Go in it.Update: I observed that location history is not available in Google Find My app. It only shows the last updated location, unlike Samsung tag which shows a history of all locations where the tag was detected. Also, I noticed people complain about nearby iphone and android devices being notified if the tag has been near them a long time. This is intentional - even a rouge airtag near you will be notified by an iPhone or an android phone. This is to prevent tags being used to stalk people. It's not a shortcoming of jiotag in particular or android tags in general, but an intentional security feature added by Google and Apple. If you are interested, you can read more about how Google's find my device network rollout was delayed while they waited for apple to build enhancement to identify and report rouge android tags.

Useless, it's not stealthy at all.
It claims to work only with Google's Find My Network. And not with iOS. But when I took it with me on a test drive in my car, my brother's iPhone was notified that "A JioTag Go was found tracking you". The native Google's Find My app doesn't support location history. It only supports live or last known location, but my brother's iPhone had the entire location history on the map. The worst part, I was also able to make sound in the tag using the iPhone and it also gave me the instruction to disable the tag.I mean, what's the whole point if I'm going to tag my bag with a JioTag and it notifies the thief that the bag is tagged and also gives control to the thief to Play a Sound on my JioTag to easily find and disable it. Absolute nonsense.
