It does work
I like that it has 2 separate pouches inside. One is secure the other is not so if you're driving the Fab can stay in the pouch and car will recognize it. Good value for the money.

This is a very good, durable Faraday bag to protect your key FOB!
My wife and I both have key start cars with fobs. We bought two sets of these key case pouches -- 4 key cases total. We keep two in the house to store our fobs in so that someone can't pick up the signal through the walls. We also keep one key case in the door accessory shelf of each car. As soon as we park the car somewhere and lock the car, we slip the fob into the case and drop it either in our pocket or purse. When we are approaching the car, as we come close we pull the fob out of the key case, open the door, put the empty key case back in its place in the door, and drive off. When we get back to the house, the fob goes back into it's key case stored in the house. This way you are protected both at home and traveling. The little snap clip that comes with it is just an extra "doo-dad" they stick on there, which probably should be left off. I wouldn't recommend carrying the key case in a belt loop anyway, as it would not be very secure and could easily be ripped off.For those car thieves who are lurking out there in parking lots near you with special amplifying signal equipment to pick up your fob code and then drive away with your car after you leave, purchasing these Faraday pouches to contain the signal from getting out is really cheap insurance! FOBs are cool and make it easy to get in and out of your car, along with starting it without fiddling with keys, but they also make it very easy for the bad guys to take possession of your car if you don't block the signal when you are out of the car. It's just not worth the risk and will give you that extra peace of mind. Also, be sure and ALWAYS lock the car and keep the fob on you when you fill the car with gas at the station to prevent those dangerous criminal "sliders" from entering your car from the other side.

New version is a winner
Decided to try this product one more time. I have the prior version for one of our other cars and it was inconsistent in its effectiveness. The new version is consistent in blocking the car (and bad actors) from reading the remotes. This is true even when standing right at the door. Only wish would be to replace the two older versions with the newer ones but not going to spring for it.

Upgraded Faraday Bag for Key Fob (2 Pack) Ticonn
I love that it works, and was a great price.I went out to start my car shortly after getting it. I got in my car, and it wouldnt start!! I was like whats going on....OH, wait...took my key out of the faraday bag, which was on my center console - and it started right up.We finally figured out though, through trial and error that while this is a good thing to have, its kinda bulky (wide and long) but thin and that its not something (unless you have a purse) you would carry around with you. But im not sure how many people steal/manipulate push button starts/key fobs outside of the house. We set it on the counter and when i get home i just slide it in.The downside is this: I have a 2019 Dodge, with two key fobs. The item isn't big enough width wise, or length wise to fit both fobs. I stuck one in the bottom at an angle and then the other one at the top, at another angle and managed to fit most of the top fob in the hole, only the key chain / keys were sticking out, I mean it works but it could have been thought out better too.For those that don't know, you can only put the key fob in the rear most compartment in this, it has the Faraday tape on the top. The front one wont protect it from transmitting.Another thing is, why not make it so the Faraday stuff is in both pouches? I would have paid another dollar or two for that so i could put both key fobs in there. (If making it wider and longer isnt an option)Still happy with it though.

Stopped Working. Signal-Blocking Pouch Protects Cars With Keyless Entry Systems
UPDATE: One year later, I retested this item, and it has stopped working. My car starts even though the car key fob is inside the Faraday bag. Another of these, purchased at the same time but used only to shield a second car key fob stored in a drawer, is still blocking the fob signal (so that my car won't start.) Star rating downgraded from 5 stars to 1 star, because of lack of durability and need to regularly retest for effectiveness. This UPGRADED TICONN PREMIUM FARADAY BAG FOR KEY FOB (2 Pack) completely blocks the signal from my 2019 Honda Accord key fob. When the transmitter is inside the bag, and inside the car, the car absolutely will NOT start. Just make sure that you place the fob in the BACK pocket (the one with the white lining). The front pocket does NOT block the signal.Keyless car entry systems (like those on the newer Hondas) make the cars that are equipped with them much harder to steal. However, thieves with sophisticated tech knowledge and equipment can enter or steal these cars by (1) hacking the fobs with signal boosting software, or (2) capturing the fob signal as the driver walks away, using special equipment developed by auto manufacturers. If you always store your fob inside a metal box or a signal-blocking pouch like this one, you are protected from these kinds of thieves. (You definitely need to store the fob inside the pouch even when the fob is inside your home.) Other reviewers say that signal-blocking pouches stop working after a time, so be sure to test the pouch every so often to verify that it’s still working. This pouch is large enough to easily store my Honda fob and an attached keychain charm. There’s room left over.
